With school looming near, parents and children were welcomed to DeWitt Eyecare for discounted eye examinations, discounts on frames and lenses, tasty treats, as well as focus on helping our local children with one of the most important aspects of learning - vision.
Dr. Palmer: "We are quick to mention that studies have shown that one in four school-aged children have a vision deficiency of some sort (whether it be a need for glasses, help with binocularity, or cognitive-vision deficiencies such as dyslexia)."

"For us, the ability to bring awareness to our community the importance of preventative care for our children makes this a worthwhile event for us to provide" Dr. Hayward notes. "We want all children to have the best opportunities they can have and good vision is one of the most important tools they have to learn and succeed."
