Community Outreach & Charity Initiatives

 At DeWitt EyeCare Clinic, we believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need.  Outreach programs represent an opportunity to show the community the level of commitment our optometrists have to their community. That is why, in addition to both Dr.s Hassebrock and Palmer being members of a local Lions Club, we support the Lions Clubs who provide eye exams and eyeglasses for persons in need in our communities. We are also a collection point for  used eyeglasses for donation programs worldwide.  Additionally, Dr. Palmer is a participating optometrist in the InfantSee program, providing free screenings to infants 6 months to one year, checking the development of infant's vision.
